Mount Carmel CEO kicked off its week with a visit to City Hall to visit with Mayor Joe Judge and City Clerk Ryan Turner. The mayor first talked about the types of things that go on a City Hall, followed by some of the City's projects that are currently underway. He also showed the group the plans for the new City Pool and explained some of the key reasons the old one is in need of replacement. Ryan Turner then explained that, as City Clerk, he oversees most of the day-to-day responsibilities of city operations, go into more detail about some other projects the City is undertaking, from new sidewalks, to streets, to water and sewer infrastructure replacement. It was important for our students to understand that, whether you're in the private or public sector, many of the same challenges must be overcome to operate successfully.
