It is our privilege to spotlight President & Chief Executive Officer of Wabash General Hospital, long time CEO Program Board Member, and Allstar Mom to current CEO participant Ella:

~KARISSA TURNER~

Karissa has served generously on the CEO Board since the introduction of our program to the communities 13 years ago this year.

She has led as President & Chief Executive Officer of Wabash General Hospital for 8 years, while her total employment adds up to 21 years serving her community through WGH.

Karissa shared with our group how she never thought she’d be where she is today. Karissa worked hard at every job she held and is a true example of how one has climbed the corporate ladder, one rung at a time. She touched on work/life balance and how there were times her progress seemed stagnant or even impossible but she persevered and reminded us how important it is to push yourself to be uncomfortable, because that’s when you grow.

As the famous quote by Edmond Lee goes:
"Surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers, the believers and thinkers, but most of all, surround yourself with those who see the greatness within you, even when you don't see it yourself.”
