Please meet CEO participant: Ella Turner

Ella is a junior at Mount Carmel High School. She plays golf and she’s in Carmel Crazies & FBLA. In CEO, she hopes to make connections and learn what it takes to run a successful business.

Ella was our CEO Connector Thursday morning and planned a fun team building activity called “Would You Rather.” She wanted the group to learn more about each other, so she asked specific questions, mostly related to business, like “Would You Rather Work Remote or Work From an Office.” This was a great way for the group to learn more about their teammates’ preferences.

Ella did an outstanding job leading our CEO Meeting and welcoming special guest Shawn Storckman & surprise special guest Dr. Bleyer. Shawn came to chat with us about how to enter and exit conversations gracefully. He helped guide the group through ‘awkward’ situations or conversations and explained how it’s really not that awkward if you take charge and know how to manage the conversation. We always appreciate Shawn coming in to share his knowledge, skills, and conversation advice with us. We feel much better about entering & exiting conversations now!
