Please meet CEO participant: Carter Pyatt

Carter is a junior at Mount Carmel High School. He plays center for the Mount Carmel football team and wrestles for the Golden Aces.

Carter was our CEO Connector Monday morning at the Edwards County Farm Bureau. He connected us with the Wayne County CEO Program and both groups welcomed Celeste Garrett, a certified DISC consultant, to review our groups’ DISC results.

DISC is a personality assessment we ask the CEO participants to complete early in their CEO journey to help them understand not only their personality types and tendencies, but also their peers’.

The DISC assessment reveals your scores in both your natural and adaptive state. Natural DISC is your core, instinctive behavior. Adaptive is your modified behavior.

The DISC personalities stand for:
D: Dominance - Individuals with D styles tend to be confident and value results and progress.
I: Influence - Individuals with I styles tend to be open and value relationships and influencing others.
S: Steadiness - Individuals with S styles tend to be dependable and value cooperation and sincerity.
C: Conscientiousness - Individuals with C styles tend to be analytical and value expertise and competency.

For the Mount Carmel CEO Program, we have 3 students that are high I’s, 4 students that are high S’s and 1 student that ties S&C for their highest scores. We know that it takes all personality types to make a productive team!
