Please meet CEO Participant: Jordan Freeland

Jordan is a junior at Mount Carmel Highschool. He grew up in Ohio and lived there until the age of 6. He has swam for the Mount Carmel Makos, previously known as the Wabash Valley Sharks, for 10 years and counting. He has played soccer for about 8 years and currently plays on the Mount Carmel Highschool team. He is employed as a lifeguard at the Toyota YMCA.

Jordan was our CEO Connector Thursday morning and planned a fun team building activity that required the ULTIMATE level of teamwork. Groups of four were armed with four strings, one rubberband, and a stack of ten cups. The goal: using the four strings tied to the rubber band ONLY, pick up each cup and stack all ten into a pyramid in the order of 4-3-2-1. Participants were in two groups and raced each other to the top!

Jordan did a stand-up job leading our CEO Meeting & welcoming special guest Craig Newman. Craig Newman is specifically a member of the Mount Carmel Area Economic Alliance and the Mount Carmel CEO Board. He assured the participants of his support for their personal CEO journeys as he briefly explained his role and both of the organizations’ roles within and for the Mount Carmel CEO Program. We are excited to welcome him again for a more in depth conversation of his career path and involvement in these organizations.

Today, he came to coach the participants through their final CEO Investor Breakfast preparations. Craig allowed the participants to run through their introductions, slideshow, and greeting/closing multiple times. He gave the group valuable feedback and helped calm many first event jitters.
